Volunteers We Need Your Help
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Charlotte Motor Speedway management has generously made the track facilities available for the time trials. The CCTTA is an all-volunteer organization with no one receiving a salary. All proceeds beyond expenses to produce the time trials go to charities or to help cycling in the Carolinas.
Now it's your turn! Have you done your part for cycling? Please contact us now if you can help the Time Trial Series in any way. Volunteers don't need to be riders. We welcome your spouse, a family member or friend that would like to help. Maybe you're a cyclist that doesn't participate in the Time Trial Series, but want to be a part of this great cycling event. If you know of anyone that can help, please let us know and we'll put them to work. Help us make the time trial series better and more fun for all. The following are just some volunteer tasks we need help with:
Start Lane Bike Holder: Holds bike at start line so the rider can clip in and be ready to start. Need to start 6:30 PM
Registration Area: Help direct riders with registration for the TT events. Need to be at track at 5:00 PM
Event Set-up: Assemble TT equipment and arrange track - Must be at track about 5:00 PM
Race Monitor: Assist Race Officials to assure the race is safe and the rules are followed. Need to start 6:30 PM
Water & Refreshments: Assist riders with cold water, power bars and limited refreshments. Need to start 6:00 PM
Information Tent: Direct participants with information on where to go, start line instructions, and any specific help.
Event Take-Down: Disassemble TT equipment and arrange track - Must be able to remain until 9:00 PM
Interviewer & Writer: Compose article about the events, riders and results. Correspond with local newspapers.
Kids Event General Help: Organize & assure kids know what to do and where to go. Need to be at track 5:00 PM
Come out and be part of what is becoming the largest and best time trial cycling series in the USA. Please let us know what you want to do to help the time trial series continue. We can use the help for the full TT series or just one date, please let us know.
